Evening run, Wed 16th Jan - POSTPONED

Postby X7RACR » Thu Jan 10, 2013 9:29 am

Since Steve has departed I'm not sure if anyone else has been organising evening runs during the summer. Any takers for a blat next Wednesday?
Usual routine - meet at Princess Margaret 6:45, depart at 7. Maybe head over the hill and round to to Diamond Harbour, or Akaroa highway to hilltop?

We have all been very slack in this department, I keep meaning to get around to it, so great idea.

Would be really keen, but will be away on holiday with the family so will skip it this time unfortunately

Cheers

I'd also be a starter subject to work. I have been in Fiji twice since Evan visited and may have to travel over again next week. It always happens at short notice, bugger it. Two days ago I was on the outer most part of the Yasawas looking at a blown apart 5 star resort. Landed on a great downhill runway which was quite exciting, although the BN Islander handled it fine. Actually travelled in seven different aircraft types in seven days last week! Doesn't get much mileage on the 7 though!

Weather permitting, I will be out for a run anyway. Two others keen so far, the more the merrier :)

Sorry work is going to get in the way for me. I have clients wound up because my reports on their losses are not finished and with insurers. Fortunately it looks like the weather gods are not smiling in any case.

If you do head out all the best and have a great time.

Weather forecast looks like more showers later... :(
...but the long range forecast looks much better for next week! :D
I'll put out another thread for the 23rd - hopefully there'll be a few more people around then too
