Hi,
My name is Earle Sutcliffe and I live in Rotorua. I stumbled on this forum on Friday and thought I should join, and now Sunday while looking through the posts I see someone spotted my Chevron the same day...spooky!

BOGUS7 is just over 20 years old now, I bought the kit in 1987 and registered it in 1989. I originally put a Toyota 2TG 1.6 in it, but finally blew it up around Taupo a few years ago so in went a Toyota 3SGE 2 litre, standard engine, fuel injected, same T50 gearbox, A slight jump in power. I built it as a road car and it still is, I do a few hill climbs and track days / dual sprints. In the early days we traveled most of the north island in it, but now my wife isn't as keen! It is part of the family and I would NEVER part with it. Driving it is great, but I still get pleasure just seeing it sitting in the garage.

When I drive it I try and wear out the tyres as fast as possible and use as much petrol as possible....

Good to see another environmentalist on the forum... look at it this way.. we are just keeping the people who make tyres and petrol employed!.

Welcome to the forums Earle glad you found us. Yoy should put some pictures up of your car in the members forum as it would be great to see pics of another car.
