Tempted but without a full rollcage I'm not brave enough :-(

It does look like heaps of fun!

I also just found out about a thing called the Cromwell Street Sprints and they look like a lot of fun... I have penciled them in...

If you will do the street sprint, there is nothing scary about Hawkeswood..

With the Street sprints you can run into things, but the speeds are generally lower and you can't really wrap yourself AROUND things (which is my main trepidation with roads and trees/fences)

If I'm not doing anything that day I might pop out for a look though... I still haven't seen your beast driven in anger and that upsets me :-)

Says it all really. Lined up for the first run, rain started falling. Put car on trailer. Sun came out after about 30 mins. Did one run, then a second. Rain set in and that was it for me. When I left I was 6th overall ( out of 35 cars), and second in class. Very happy with the performance and driveability... no sign of too much power for the grip available.

Hawkeswood road is a brilliant sprint. Used to be the main road north, so very wide and quite smooth. They only use about 2 km but it has a nice collection of elevation changes that aren't really noticeable on the videos. Will certainly be going back next time.

Final results out, it dried up for the later runs, so finished 4th in class, 10th overall. Happy with that.
