That is a really good time, what tyres have you got on there at the moment ? Will have to study the video to see your lines!

Tyres are old r881 that I got with the wheels. They're really old. That lap was pretty rubbish in terms of lines, a bit all over the show but it seemed to be quick.

I couldn't get below 1.24 with a passenger though. So that makes a big difference

Cheers for that info. I am still on my street tyres (Re002) they seem ok for a street tyre, but front left has a bad flatspot that keeps getting worse!

I only had 2 runs by myself with a quickest time for the weekend was a 1:24.1. But on the last session with a passenger (over 90kg extra) I managed 1:24.4. So was really happy with that, so there is plenty more time in the car, need at least 2 new tyres now (as the flat spot won't pass a wof, and inside edge of another other is gone).

What tyres you getting next Aaron?im happy with the R1R's on the road but once the 888's are poked, might try something different on the track.

Not sure. Been thinking about sticking with a street tyre (as i only have 1 set of rims) but upgrading to the Yokohama Ad08r or Toyo R1R. Will depend on what is available and prices, where did you get the r1r from?

My local mechanic...Shocks Brakes and Tyres on Kenepuru Drive, he undercut Scott by a bit for the R1R's, but I'm sure there are Toyo agents in Palmy.....they are a great tyre
