WOF in Christchurch

Post by Golden » Mon Mar 07, 2016 10:24 am

My trusty WOF shop has stopped doing warrants. Does anyone have any recomendations for someone careful and Seven friendly?

Cheers

Rip it up to Ngatea, I'll do it. (Road trip)

I have always used Roydvale Vehicle Testing, 518 Wairakei Road, since I have had my 7. I usually get to drive it through (as the blokes there are too big to fit in the cockpit) and the chap who owns the place is or used to be the president of either the Rod club or the Car club - I can't remember which. I have always found them friendly and interested in something a little different. The other advantage is that they are open Saturdays and Sundays.

After successfully using Roydvale testing station for the last WOF it now seems they have closed their doors. Who else is Seven friendly in Christchurch?

Yeah I now have the same problem! :( There is another WOF testing station further up Wairakei Road on the same side opposite the new Orion building or thereabouts. I have only used it once for a caravan years ago. Might have to check them out as my daily driver is due in the next month.
