Trim material under bonnet - fraser owner

Post by bzrse7en » Tue Oct 24, 2017 4:52 pm

I have seen a trim material on a couple of frasers seperating the bonnet from scuttle and nosecone. The material is woven like webbing, a tan colour - similar colout to kevlar / hesian and is a flat section (like webbing) but about 10mm wide. I need something to seperate body panels so they don't fret but not very thick.
Anyone know what it is and where it comes from?
thanks

Not sure what Fraser use but at work we use 3M teflon tape which seems to work well and only about 0.15mm thick

Mine had some sort of cotton type webbing that had gone pretty ratty. I replaced it with a nylon based equivalent from Spotlight.
