Am I required to have sidelights? Or is headlights only ok?

Am I required to have sidelights? Or is headlights only ok?

As title... If I replace my headlight switch with a single position switch, leaving myself no way to just turn on the sidelights, is that going to be a problem for WOF etc? (Yes I could mount another (possible hidden) switch for sidelights I guess)...

By side lights I guess you mean park lights/positioning lights? In which case you need to be able to turn them on independantly.
