Tie rods, continuous length

Post by JDaly » Mon May 28, 2012 7:51 am

The manual says your tie rods have to be a continuous length of steel, with no welds. Bugger. Mine have a lengthener section on the end of them. There are no welds, but its not a continuous length either. I'm going to ask my certifier if this is acceptable. But my question is, assuming I have to replace the tie rods, who/how/where/what?

Thanks.
