Howdy - on way back from Wellington to Napier (in a Toyota not a Lotus!) spotted 2 x red 7's with a TR in the middle turnong off back road on to main highway just south of Levin - guess the "29th if wet" went by the wayside as is indeed 22nd AND was wet! The bright red balaclava on the driver of the second red 7 was a giveaway that was bl..dy cold & wet going.....hope still enjoyed selves though -- guess an old golfing adage can be adapted in that 'a bad day in a Lotus 7 is still better than a good day at work'!!
Also spotted a very nice orange/silver 7 parked up at Shannon but as was running late couldn't syop to say gidday.

Yip that was us,

The day started out really nice here in Wellington (and I think it was good all day), but we seemed to be following the rain around the country side. John in the second Fraser doesn't have a windscreen, just wind deflector which he said is not all that effective, so it must have been nice return home for him. If you looked carefully there was also an Escort in the convoy home, our kids wanted to come along and with only one seat, Jan drove the Escort with the kids alternating cars....

On the bright side, sun come out just south of Paraparumu so a run over Paekak hill has on the cards, it is fun anytime that road, but just the best with another Fraser following...... :D

The third Fraser was Gil, he was still enjoying a coffee when we departed Shannon......

This time the Frasers outnumbered the TR's, which was great......

Will post a few photos soon......

Yup - they all look familar (maybe not the Escort as didn't, I'm sorry, notice that amongst the mix!!).
I'll make it down over summer to meet up at one of these runs.....
