Thanks. There's absolutely nothing to be lost by not trying these out and potentially something to be learned so I'll definitely give these a go.
The only difference might be if they are genuine racing lines (with the implicit assumption that you may want to defend slightly into corners).. Because I am not racing wheel to wheel I don't need to consider that at all... I really have no desire to put my fate in the hands of someone else and hoping they don't lock up and T-bone me - especially in a car without any side intrusion considerations.
