Hi
Is there a minimum size for a steering wheel?
My 23 looks like it needs a 12" - which I had on my old seven. The bloke a swift Automotive told me there was a 13" minimum diameter and a particular dish minimum, he was wrong the last time he quoted LVVTA law, so interested to find out.

I've got a 260mm Momo on mine (10 1/4") - it wasn't mentioned at all by the certifier as being a problem.
Mind you it is hard working at parking speed

Chapter 7 - Steering systems
7.1.2 A steering wheel that is fitted to a low volume vehicle must be of a diameter that is:
a) not less than 245mm (10")
b) large enough in diameter to enable the vehicle to be safely steered, taking into consideration:
i) the weight of the vehicle and
ii) the number of turns required to turn the vehicle from lock to lock
Cheers Iain.

If you see the tree you are driving into, you have understeered. If you only hear it, you have oversteered....
