Hi Guys,

well after a lot of looking around and research, I'm going to fit a NIStune daughter board, as its very user friendly and made for my engine. Hope to have it all up and running before summer.

Well change of direction, after talking to the tuner, Link g4 is what they prefer to work on and would get better results in their option. So looks like Link G4 is what I'm fitting. :)

Good choice....if the tuners know how to use it, you'll get the best results.

I would find another tuner if he isn't comfortable with other brands of ECUs.

I am planning on taking it to st hi-tec, heard they are very good with the Nissan engines.

That is odd that they aren't willing to use a different ECU. I have heard good things about them though.

Rookie, maybe I worded it incorrectly, I asked ST Hitec in their opinion, which would be the best ecu for my set up, and I listed 3 or 4 makes, their reply was, the Link G4, will be the best choice for my set-up, depending on my engine conditions.
I have also heard that they do very good work, main reason I will be taking lotus there.

Well Link G4 is in and wired up, all pre start checks done, turned key and fired up on second try, well pleased. :P
The air/fuel I fitted is working, engine running rich but will be sorted when tuned next week.
