Manawatu Car Club Gymkhana/Autocross

This weekend July 19th, Manfeild backtrack, 9am start.

I'm gonna be there in the Fraser, I try not to miss this event as it is a heck of alot of fun.

Entrance isn't thru Rata Street but down at the clubrooms on Kawakawa Road.

Weather doesn't look too bad tomorrow, looking forward to it. Will be my first motokana type event.

Yay Aaron regarding weather, we brought the Fraser up to Palmy yesterday, since then it has been pretty crap and cold.....might take a bit to dry out and warm up the car tomorrow....

I too am looking forward to it....

Nothing beats a few skids for a laugh...especially in a seven

2nd round is on the 23rd August, I am planning on being there again to try and master these handbrake turns and skids....should be fun......

The morning tracks were good fun, but I prefer the longer stuff, really enjoyed the afternoon track. But the waiting for just 2 runs put me off last time. (After you left last time they were alternating drifting and normal, but there was only 8 drift cars left so some of them did 3 runs between when you left and when I got my second run at 4.30!)

Will save it for a similar event on base the next weekend, they the CCC trackday at Manfield on the 26 September
